Raindrops

Mmm, there's a smell of rain in the air. I love the big raindrops that fall in summer. It seems as though the skies just open and they fall randomly, like warm snowflakes.

Then the vibrancy of the cottage garden and its blossoms shimmer by the sun's rays and petals hold convex mirrors, reflecting pools of a summer season's bouquet.

  1. My friend Leeza from Germany told me about the heavy rain/hail?? when I saw her this afternoon. It was clear, blue sky in Redmond. By the time I got back in town and home, Mt. Washington was still damp but I completely missed the drama, rain and all. Ditto...it's so clean and fresh after such storm. Gotta love it :D
