Washcloths

I enjoy color and odd as it may sound, I'll set aside some yarn or fabric and gaze at it, watching how colors work in relationship with one another and how color blends can evoke a feeling, a mood, a place. This visual expression is similar to aromatherapy where a scent can transport you to a meadow or a feeling of relaxation, calm.

This yarn by Lily is called "Peace." It had a happy color blend of red, lime, & yellow --perfect to be part of a trio of washcloths (a red apple one and a lime green heart one) for a gift set I was making, along with lavender bath salts and oatmeal soap. Here's the finished washcloth

Perhaps taking a long, quiet bath, with the sun shining through the window, and the scent of lavender, could be a good wind down to the day.
